APPA is the gathering place for educational facilities professionals, dedicated to the ongoing evolution of the profession. The organization's mission is, "To support educational excellence with quality leadership and professional management through education, research and recognition."

With more than 18,000 educational facilities professionals from over 1,300 learning institutions worldwide, APPA’s community represents the broadest coalition of educational facilities professionals possible, ensuring a diversity of experiences and situations, and availability of best practices.

NASFA is the only association dedicated exclusively to the state facilities professional and the unique challenges they face. Their diverse members are responsible for the planning, development, operations and maintenance of state facilities. Members represent facilities professionals in the departments of administration, transportation, real estate, parks, corrections, human services, and colleges and universities.

TEFMA is a professional association providing services to its members, who work in diverse roles managing higher education physical infrastructure. TEFMA supports professional excellence in higher education property and facilities management, by hosting a broad annual program of networking and professional development events and by providing its members with access to valuable sector information and networks. TEFMA member institutions include universities, vocational and other higher education providers in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and the Pacific region.

The Association of University Directors of Estates (AUDE) promotes excellence in the strategic planning, management, operation and development of Higher Education estates and facilities. AUDE offers membership to publicly funded UK bodies whose primary remit is higher education teaching and/or research.
