Every quarter, we take a moment to shine a spotlight on one of our many exceptional employees who regularly go above and beyond to keep us thriving. This is a chance for us to recognize our internal team members and show off our team of dedicated professionals to the world! Our selected employee spotlight for each quarter will not only get a little extra special kudos, but AssetWorks will donate to a charitable organization of their choice in the employee's name.

Meghan Spotlight

Meet Meghan Fitterer, one of our talented Product Managers

Meghan has been instrumental in managing the ReADY product line and actively contributing to our product team's mission. Her journey at AssetWorks began after she had already made significant strides in her career. Prior to joining us, Meghan was an integral part of the Virginia Polytechnical Institute (more commonly referred to as Virginia Tech). Her journey there, starting as an Administrative Coordinator and steadily progressing to become a Jr. Project Analyst and ultimately an Analytics Project Manager, exposed her to various facets of Facilities, offering her valuable insights into the essential role facilities play in keeping institutions like Virginia Tech running smoothly.

During her tenure here at AssetWorks, Meghan's contributions have been invaluable, particularly in the development and optimization of ReADY Space. Her dedication and expertise have played a significant role in shaping this product into what it is today, vastly improving the customer experience.

Beyond the Office

Beyond her role at AssetWorks, Meghan has a unique talent - stained glass artistry. She honed this skill while stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, with her husband and considers it her "happy place." This creative outlet not only showcases Meghan's artistic side but also adds to the rich tapestry of her life outside of work.

Giving Back

As part of our Employee Spotlight tradition, we also support a charitable organization chosen by the selected employee. Meghan has chosen to make a difference by selecting "Wigs for Kids" as her charity of choice. Her decision stems from her desire to help children in need. In high school, Meghan wanted to donate her hair and discovered that many wig suppliers charge families for the hairpieces they provide. In contrast, "Wigs for Kids" offers these crucial hairpieces free of charge to families and partners with stylists throughout North America to ensure a perfect fit and style for the recipients.

"This resonated with me because these children and families are already navigating extremely difficult waters, and the last thing they need is another bill. I have continued to donate hair to this organization, and this monetary donation will help ensure Wigs for Kids can continue their mission."

-----

We are proud to shine a well-deserved spotlight on Meghan Fitterer as our Employee of the Quarter. Her commitment to our culture, her exceptional work, her creative pursuits, and her dedication to helping those in need through "Wigs for Kids" are a testament to the remarkable individual she is.
